Theory and Analysis of Vibration
S8 ING CSSM
The Theory and Analysis of Vibrations course focuses on the study of oscillatory motion in mechanical systems. It covers free and forced vibrations, damped and undamped systems, and the dynamic behavior of discrete and continuous systems such as masses, springs, beams, and strings. The course also introduces methods for deriving equations of motion, determining natural frequencies and mode shapes, and analyzing resonance and stability in engineering applications.
